Skin Tags

Skin tags are small, benign growths that commonly appear in areas where skin folds or rubs together, such as the neck, armpits, eyelids, and groin. They consist of collagen fibers, blood vessels, and skin cells enclosed in a thin layer of skin. While usually painless, skin tags can become irritated by clothing, jewelry, or shaving. Their size can vary, and although they are not dangerous, many individuals seek removal for comfort or cosmetic reasons.
